PAC4SWX is a tool to batch run macros with SolidWorks documents. With PAC4SWX you can choose multiple documents from your filesystem and run a macro with them in one step.

You can set various actions for the new MultiJob tasks. The MultiJob consists of up to three pre job actions and up to ten tasks, which are processed for every document in the PAC-list (or the active document). The momentary settings of PAC4SWX are saved before executing the MultiJob and are restored on successful completion.
The settings can be saved on a user-bases in the main dialog. If you want to store the settings in a file or read them from a file you may do so from the main dialog.
If the MultiJob is executed all entries are processed. Entries labeled "-" are empty and wont do anything.
The MultiJob sttings dialog is separated in two areas:
Pre Job Action
In this area you can set up up to three tasks, which are
execute before the MultiJob tasks are processed. There are several kind
of tasks to choose from:

LoadSettings | This task will load PAC4SWX settings from a previously saved file. You can generate a PAC4SWX setting file from the main menu (Options/Save settings to file). Please enter the full path to the setting file in the textbox to the right or choose the file with a standard file box, if you click the "..." buton. |
LoadPACList | This task will load a PAC-list from a file. You can generate a PAC4SWX setting file from the main menu (File/Save as) or from a external program or tool. Please enter the full path to the setting file in the textbox to the right or choose the file with a standard file box, if you click the "..." buton. |
RunMacro 0 - RunMacro 9 |
This task will execute the macro with the number 0 to 9, like they are set in the run macro settings dialog (description). This is useful to generate a special environment in SolidWorks or i.e. to generate a filelist. |
MultiJob Eigenschaften
In this area you can set up up to ten tasks, whcih are executed for each
document in the PAC-list (or the active document). Alle tasks are processed one
ofter the other for the dicument, then the next document will be loaded.
All PAC4SWX settings like filters, read-only, view-only, suppress warnings etc. are valid while executing the MultiJob.
There are several kind of tasks to choose from:

Export 3D X_T | This task exports the active (just loaded) document as a Parasolid file (x_t). All the settings from the dialog "Set 3D export options" (description) apply. |
Export 3D X_B | This task exports the active (just loaded) document as a Parasolid file (x_b). All the settings from the dialog "Set 3D export options" (description) apply. |
Export 3D IGES | This task exports the active (just loaded) document as a IGES file (igs). All the settings from the dialog "Set 3D export options" (description) apply. |
Export 3D STEP | This task exports the active (just loaded) document as a STEP file (step). All the settings from the dialog "Set 3D export options" (description) apply. |
Export 3D SAT | This task exports the active (just loaded) document as a ACIS file (sat). All the settings from the dialog "Set 3D export options" (description) apply. |
Export 3D STL | This task exports the active (just loaded) document as a STL file (stl). All the settings from the dialog "Set 3D export options" (description) apply. |
Export 3D WRL | This task exports the active (just loaded) document as a VRML file (wrl). All the settings from the dialog "Set 3D export options" (description) apply. |
Export Doc PDF | This task exports the active (just loaded) document as a PDF file (pdf). All the settings from the dialog "Set export documents options" (description) apply. |
Export Doc JPG | This task exports the active (just loaded) document as a JPEG file (jpg). All the settings from the dialog "Set export documents options" (description) apply. |
Export eDrawings | This task exports the active (just loaded) document as a eDrawings file (eprt, easm, edrw). All the settings from the dialog "Set eDrawings export options" (description) apply. |

If all tasks are executed the previously saved settings are restored automatically to reset changed settings (with the LoadSettings task)
